Product quality assurance is essential to the cosmetics industry in their continual efforts to manufacture and market high quality products worldwide. The Quality Assurance Guidelines are based on the principles described in the international standard, ISO 22716 Cosmetics – Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Guidelines which is included as a companion reference document in this publication. While the Quality Assurance Guidelines are intended to supplement ISO International Standard 22716, they are prepared from the perspective of product manufacturing and marketing in the United States, and systems may be different in other jurisdictions.
